“Is there anyone that does not need to navigate uncertainty and risk on a regular basis? To be alive is to be vulnerable; to be a leader is to be vulnerable every minute of the day. You don’t get to opt out.”

- Brené Brown

If you’ve ever been to a Quilt gathering, then the above should come as no surprise. Entrepreneurs, mothers, daughters, colleagues, human beings...regardless of our identities, we’re all faced with uncertainty and risk on a regular basis.

Whether or not we choose to openly share these fears and vulnerabilities with others is the difference between an old approach to leadership and a new. We are now in the midst of, and playing an integral role in, redefining what it looks like to be a strong leader–both as women and as inhabitants of this world.

How do we go about redefining this? We start by identifying the way we choose to lead our own lives. From this place of exploration and ownership, our actions inspire others to do the same.

Come join us this month and let’s uncover the type of wholehearted leaders we want to be.
